I hope you didnt take any of what i said as a direct attack on you. I was merely looking at it from a safety perspective. I have tracked my car quite a few times and have seen first hand what can happen on the track.

In regards to the semi solif forging process, well, i really dont know what to tell you. I know SSR wheels very well, my first set of wheels for my S was a set of GT3's. Those too were SSF. Another wheel that SSR offers that uses the same process is their competition wheel. This wheel was very popular when it first came out because of its low weight. I have noticed that recently more and more people have turned away from this wheel because of its lack of strength. I have personally seen 6 of these wheels bend on different cars and on different tracks. This is the only reason I hold any of SSR's wheels suspect.

IMO, if that even matters I would use the SSR for street and get a set of RA1s for the stock wheels and use those for the track. The car will be faster on those 16s anyhow
