Best Triangle s2000 service department
I've had my '03 suzuka blue for 4 months now and it's time for a few tweaks.
Specifically, I've got some top rattles but everything else has been flawless on the car.
Which Triangle Honda dealership has the best service dept. for the s2000? I bought the car at Leith in Raleigh, the sales department treated me well, can't say the same for the Leith AutoPark location, they wanted $1K to drive the car, credit checks before driving the car and other nonsense.
Crown in Chapel Hill would be the closest but I'm not too fond of their sales dept. either having attempted to negotiated a deal on an Accord for my mother a few years ago, and them wanting to sell me $600 worth of Scotch-guard.
I plan on doing all the oil, diff and tranny changes myself, but top adjustments are beyond me.
I would appreciate any advice.

Please let us ALL know if you find a decent Honda service department. I bought my MY2003 S2000 at AutoPark, and pretty much regret dealing with them (no regret with the car). I really have a foul taste in my mouth due to my experience, and probably will never buy from them again. The couple of "technical" questions I asked the service folks left me wondering if I should bring them the car EVER, even for a simple oil change. (MORONS!)
Too bad Fred Anderson Toyota doesn't work on Hondas. They have treated me right from day one (1995), and continue to be the only people to touch my Avalon. AutoPark could learn a lot from Fred Anderson!!!
Just my $0.02.

I am very satisfied with the quality and service at Leith Honda. I have been with Leith Honda for about 7 years and 3 new cars.
Ask for David Rolow. He is my service advisor and he is top notch.
It is worth noting that Leith and AutoPark Honda are both owned by the same folks. However, they have two very different outlooks on how they treat customers.
My Opinion how they both define these two words:
AutoPark
(Quantity=How much $ can they get out of you)
(Quality=How little do they have to do, in order to get your $)
Leith Honda
(Quantity=How satisfied are you with your purchase, because they want you to come back in the future)
(Quality=How can they go the extra mile to get you your $ worth)
If you plan to have your car serviced at the dealer, then I strongly recommend that you find a dealer you like and TRUST, and then build a strong relationship with them. I have found that on more than one occasion, borderline out-of-warranty work has gone my way without a question.

I agree with Skip, both my S2000's came from Leith in Raleigh as well as six other Hondas over the years. I have had no problems with them for either sales or service. I also know of a S2000 Mechanic at Cary who does work on his own. If you need his name I will be glad to supply you with it.

Looks like it's Leith.
I bought the car their and I was treated decently. Sounds like the service dept. mirrors the sales department.
I've also had good luck with Leith's Porsche service department (though it's in the AutoPark location).
It's interesting how everyone (including myself) has had bad experiences with AutoPark Honda. I'd drive a Kia before I'd buy a car (or trust my car) to those guys.
Thanks for all your comments.
