I am making up excuses to ride again and again and again... 4th trip today.

i actually didn't drive much today i cleaned my car, alot, and pissed off my girlfriend at the same time. But i will be out tonight breaking some necks....................

 

Got up early and washed my baby. Then applied 2 coats of Zaino and took some time to polish the exhaust. Tested the number magnets for tomorrow's AutoX and then made an excuse to drive into Greenville (45 minutes NW) to visit the Home Depot. What a drive. It's been awhile since I've been able to enjoy my S with the top down.

 

I drove up to Jacksonville today by way of 210/ Shaw Hwy/Old Maple Hill Road with the top down. This was my first time on this road and boy was it a lot of fun.

When I got back to Wilmington I saw 2 nice S2k's (a black s2k and a Yellow S2k) with their tops down and even got a wave from one of them.

 

i went cruising for half the day with top down. Nice Day today for cruising..

Took me a day or 2 to respond, but YEAH!!! Saturday (and Sunday for that matter) were so awesome that, while Ron and I had mega-house chores we SHOULD have done , we decided to blow them all off and go for a mini-run of our own.

First.....my car gets a good wash and a Z-6 rubdown, then we're off to get new rear tires put on my car. (NTB matched Tire Rack's price BTW ). Then...I had to break in my "new shoes" with a run out in the Weddington-Waxhaw area, complete with FRS radios. I let Ron take the lead most of the way, since it was his route.

FINALLY...according to Airgate, since no run is considered "official" until there's a photo-op, we paused for a Kodak moment at Cane Creek Park. BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!!

I hit the autoX on Saturday in Columbia with bridow and Gamecocks2k. Then as I was grilling some burgers for lunch on Sunday, I looked up and said, "Hmmm... good day for a drive!" I ran up 276 through Caesar's Head, turned around to run it the opposite direction, then came home. No pics, so I guess it wasn't an official run!
