Default Beaufort to Charleston: Sunday July 15th Cruise and a Meal

When: Sunday July 15th arriving at Red's around 3p
Where: Beaufort to Red's Ice House in Mt. Pleasant (Charleston)
Departing From: The Shell Gas Station just outside of MCAS at 1p leaving by 1:15p
Food Destination: Red's Ice House 98 Church Street Mt. Pleasant 29464 http://www.redsicehouse.com/
Who: S-Owners, our friends, and any other imports and domestics that we can convince to join us.

We'd like to take a longer cruise this month and chose Charleston as our destination. From the recommendations it seems like Red's is the place to go.

If you live in Charleston or the Mt. Pleasant area please feel free to join us. We encourage and highly welcome our fellow Charleston area S2000 owners and import friends to join us for the meal and whatever part of the cruise that you'd like to show us around your town afterwards. Good People Domestics are also welcomed to join the gathering.

Have you guys thought about Red's Ice House on Shem Creek? Nice outdoor seating on the water/marina and an outside bar for those of you not driving.

I'll see if some of the guys/clients from the shop want to come out for the meet. How many people do you have coming so far? What time are you guys shooting for?

Red's Ice House is a good place...it tends to get/be rather busy. We need to get some of the Charleston peeps riled up as we've done some nice drives in that area followed by the good eats at Red's Ice House.

Are we looking at just heading 17 North?

I've got about 3-4 other guys coming to meet at lunch. Yes, Red's does get a bit busy... but it's a fun place with great views.

Wild Wings on Coleman Blvd is another decent option for lunch.

So it looks like Red's is the place to eat. We really don't know the area between here and there, so 17N unless anyone else knows how to make it a scenic tour. So far on the Beaufort end we are looking like three (Dan, Brian, Raul), waiting to see if Lau is interested. Still waiting to hear back from two other coworkers if they can make the trip. So for now Reds looks like our destination. Any objections or other suggestions please let me know by Sunday the 8th so we can set the route in motion. Dan

I'd like to meet some of you so please put me down as a maybe. I no longer have an S so I will not participating in a drive after (unless you want to poke along for a little old lady in a Volvo). I'm waiting to hear from my son who is in Afghanistan as he is coming home near that time and I won't be able to make the trip. If I make it I'll be coming from Murrells Inlet, SC. Thanks for giving me the headsup, Airgate. It'd be great to see you again.

Would be interested, but will be driving the opposite direction, driving from charleston to autocross in savannah. There will be several S2ks there if anyone wants to come play.
