Our baby girl will be 9 weeks old this weekend, it will be a last minute decision if I can make it. Worse case is I'll ride out during the afternoon to watch for a while.

The following improvements are directly due to Fairway Subaru's generous sponsorship this year:
3 new laptop computers for timing&scoring/registration
1 new laser printer for results
1 new generator mounted in the floor of the box van

In addition to the stuff we were able to buy to improve our events, we were also able to keep the cost of the events down this year, thanks to the sponsorship. Look around and you'll see that there's very few SCCA regions still putting on events for $20 entries. We figured that a one-time, five dollar purchase of magnetics is much better than charging you $25 (or $35-40 for non-members) at every event.

Hey Garrett, check the pre-registration list, I'm in, but I guess I don't count . . . rejected . . . ignored . . .

I know nothing of Autocross, but it sounds like something I'd like to try. Can you experienced folks point me to some reading about the whole process? So at least maybe I can ask some intelligent questions?
thanks!
Dave

Thanks, Garrett, it does sound like something I'd like to try. I'm still in Ohio for another few weeks, so it will have to be another time, and I will see what I can read up on in the meantime!
As for slowness, someone's got to be slow, right? Might as well be me

Dave, when you do make the move to Mebane (thats where the new home is, right?) there will be lots of autocross going on around you. The group I'm a member of (Triad Sports Car Club) has races in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and we make it up to Danville Airport right across the state line in VA. Closer to Raleigh and surrounding area's, theres the Tarheel Sports Car Club. To the north, there's the Blue Ridge Region of the SCCA, to the south, theres the Central Carolina's Region of SCCA, and out near the coast theres the North Carolina Region of SCCA.
In my groups 2 events this year, I've already convinced two people to try it that never had before and I think both Brandon and Matt enjoyed themselves. We always have plenty of room for more S2000's (or anything else).
