okay, I'm getting a bad vibe from the autopark honda cary dealership. Yesterday I went to the dealership after work, talked to a guy there in the part dept to set up an appointment for the car. First of all, when I told him that I want to take it in for the recall, he said... "this is not a really important recall, you can just come back and get it check out on your next maintenance checkup," but I told him I want it to get check out next week, and it just made me feel like they dont wanna fix my car. So then I brought out about the service bulletin about the buzzin of the clutch, and grinding the second gear problems, and basic what he told me is, the mechanics have to be able to produce the problem then be able to order the parts to fix the problem..... so I am very doubtful that they will be willing to fix those two problems. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.

oh.. btw, they want my car for an entire day for something thats gonna take them only an hour to fix it.

another thing, maybe I didnt get the good service rep this time.... but I took my car there twice b4 when they were at the old facility, and the one helped me b4 were very nice to me.. what happened to the nice ones? I bet they decide to hire the not-nice ones, so people will stop coming back to get there car fix there.. and the dealership will save some money for the warranty fixes.

See my post above. They asked me to leave it when I made the appointment. They were done with it about an hour after I dropped it. If I had known they were going to work on it right away I would have stuck around instead of walking home and then walking back.

Based on my service, I wouldn't worry about having the spark plug update done there. You may not want to count on it, but I suspect that if you schedule to drop your car at 7 or 7:30, you'll probably be able to wait for the car. I don't know what to suggest about the other two bulletins you want addressed.

Did you know that both dealership are owned by the same people?

When I lived in Cary I visited Autopark on many occasions with my Civics and they were okay. IMO, the sales deptartment is not very good and the service department was average.

At the time, 3 years ago, I felt that Leith's Sales and Service departments were a bit better.
