Do you need a box?

I have done at least 12 s2000s for audio systems alone, not including remote starts or other mods. So I all know all the tips and tricks in the s2k. In my personal car, i have removed the headunit and am using an Ipod directly connected to my kicker 3ch amp, which is powering a set of kicker RS 6.5" components in the door and a single kicker L7 10" square sub in the trunk.

My amp is hidden below the convertible tray and i still have full access to the spare. I like hidden/clean installs.

 

yea i probably would need a box but i was thinking eitehr putting it in the area where the spare tire would be as i removed it anyways or where all the jack tools are since i removed those as well. As far as a headunit im not even sure what to get or direction to go that would make it look good.
