Default AP2 for intake test

We are working developing an intake system for the larger displacement s2000's, we have tested on 2 liter and 2.4 but we would like to test the intake on a 2.2 liter car before we send this thing out for production.

If you already have an intake thats cool too, the more data we have the better.

Of course there will be no cost to the "volunteer" and should this intake make more power and you want one, you'll be able to buy one at a steep discount once we have the final intakes out of production, free install too.

Thanks guys

I'm curious as to what this intake will look like. I will need to do something to my intake over the winter as it is currently sucking in hot air and my oil cooler lines stop me from running my K&N box as well as Robert Thorne's setup

This one is going to be pretty simple. Its mainly for people making more than 230hp. It'll be a 2 piece 3.5" cold air intake. Currently there isnt anything on the market you can buy that will work well for a higher hp NA setup. Hopefully we'll have these ready to go in a month or so.

So far in our testing on a 2 liter motor the power is pretty much exactly the same as an K&N fipk until the last 500-1000 rpms where the bigger intake makes a little more power. This intake isnt really targeted for small motors so the fact that from 2500 to 8000 its exactly the same as the K&N is nice.

J-Speed will be coming through this week so we will have ap2 results soon.
