I'm looking around for a local S2000 club, in the triad (High Point, Greensboro, Winston Salem) area. I've seen a couple S2000's around, but most seem to be driven by older guys (50+). I just saw a NFR hard top yesterday with an older guy driving. I've also seen a Berlina in High Point with tinted windows. I just wanted to know if anyone gets together in that area. Thanks guys!

We used to have a fair number of meets in the GBoro WS area, but folks have moved, or sold their cars - oh wait - that was mostly us older guys!

Now we meet in Raliegh quite often with both the old and young.

Hi, Rich !

As Dave reported we had a good group going in the G'boro area...unfortunately, several sold their S's, one was totaled, and several have moved away !

SO...not much has happened for about the last 6 months.

I'm always up for getting together...just be forwarned that I'm in that 'ancient' category (50+)...but I don't act like I'm much over 100 .

I'm hosting the next Zoo Run on Saturday Oct 11...so if you can make it down, then you will be most welcome.

I am sorry for acting like I did not want to get together with "older" guys!! Please forgive me if that sounded closed minded or stuck up. I would love to get together with you guys. I am sure you guys know a lot more about these cars than I do. I'm not exactly 18 either. I'm 32.

What time is the Zoo run starting? I may see if the wife wants to get together with you guys. If not, I may go it alone.

If anyone is interested in possibly starting a Triad area meet, I would love it.

Also, are the meets in Raleigh monthly or just at random times? When is the next Raleigh meet? I have a lot to learn from you guys, so we need to meet!!

Zoo Run...I'm thinking around 12:30-1:00PM.

WARNING...we will at times drive rather 'spiritedly'...some 'plus 1's' like that, some don't...just so you know.

Oh don't worry about my 'plus 1' not liking that. She drives the thing faster than I do!! I don't think I can make it though. I was just reminded that is the day of my cousins wedding (which I am in). I wish I could make it. I will make the next Raleigh event though!

Hehehe, no worries, we like to poke and prod a bit, around here, as Steve said.

Raleigh meets are usually First Saturday every month at Brier Creek where they have a monthly Italian/Exotic car meet. Usually start at 9am, and do lunch, followed by a drive if it is not too blazing hot. Usually upwards of 10 cars, our best attendance was August when we had 21 show up!
