OK, these are not the Pole Position version, but they are the Asymmetrical version. I checked with tire rack and according to them, these are a "step up" from the OEM tires based on slightly different rubber formulation, casing construction and the asymmetrical tread. Oh yeah and they have a higher "load rating" than the standard RE050.

$350 for the tires. No kidding, these are like brand new. I anyone wants a pic or two, I have a depth measurement tool and can snap a couple tonight. If you want pics, please let me know your email address.

The person at Tirerack did indicate that there are slight differences in the tire construction (sidewall stiffness, etc) and very slight tread and compound differences between the OEM RE050 the A and the PP, with the A and PP being somewhat better than the OEM tire for the S.

Bumpage.. Still available and not currently being used. The tires are in my garage and have 95-99% tread left.

I'm interested, but it's going to be next week before I can get them.

So are they going to make the car "feel" different than the oem tire?

Right now I have Fuzion ZRi tires in the stock sizes. The fronts have plenty of tread, but the rears are pretty damn close to being done.
