July 18th and August 8th are CMP's next open track days....

 

I have spoken with Joe at CMP and he said that if we got 20 cars he would create an S2K run group for the day.

I'm going to be there in Aug, but I'll be out of town in July.

The track is very fun

my buddy has a nsx in charleston and they did a drivers ed at roebling road in savannah with some of the northern florida guys. nsxs are pretty scare so they let us little guys tag along too

 

Please keep us informed what you plan to do.

 

I am definently in. I dont know anything about driving these cars since i just recently got one. Keep me informed

That is 11 cars. We need 20. For the sake of numbers I vote not to make it an S2000 only affair. I know two guys who may be interested who don't have S2000s

Next is the date: July 18th or August 8th. Lets hear your
preferences! I prefer July 18th but it may be to
much with the 17th's activities already planned. If there is
enough people wanting to make a commitment to
Aug 8th I WILL DITCH MY VISITING FAMILY (For the day) TO GO TO THE TRACK!

Even if the dates are not good at all PLEASE let me know if you are interested.
It may be that it is too late to get this organized for either date. But there will
be other open days so at least we can work out if it is something we could plan for later.

this is getting good we need more people spread the word!

 

I'm in for August 8th at CMP. There's an autocross the next day (August 9th) at the track that is always a fun event. I'll be hanging around for the AutoX.

 

Right now I could do either date. Let's do it.
