Does anybody know Adam Stadler in Greensboro, NC? I bought a set of OEM roll over hoops on ebay and the driver side arrived damaged (thanks to him not including ANY packing material in the box after I specially asked him to). I was being UBER nice after he didn't response to my email after a week so I called him and we agreed to file a claim with FedEx. I even threw in some packing material in the box before FedEx came and pick the box up so they could cite that the reason for the damage was poor packaging. I faxed the claim and told FedEx to return the box/item to me after they finished their investigation and instead they send it back to the shipper, Adam. But in order for them to process the claim, they need the shipper to send a waiver so that I can get paid... Adam claimed he'd been busy and had no time to send a fax but assured me he would do so by the end of the day LAST Wednesday. Well surprise, surprise, he STILL hasn't contacted FedEx and hasn't answered or returned my calls. So basically, this guy has the roll hoops I paid him for AND my money AND has been uncooperative to help me to resolve the issue...

Does anybody know who this guy is??? Why are people so lame?

Can't help you on the contact but have you tried filing a complaint with E Bay or if you paid by Paypal, you have some recourse.

Let us know and if he is unkind to you, post his e bay SN so we can all be on notice.

 

I got ripped off by an Adam S and had to go back and look to see if any of the info matched up. It didn't as far as I can tell; mine was $3k for a motor that was "in good running condition" and arrived with a spun rod bearing and other damage. He was in Columbia, SC though.


FWIW, eBay and PayPal did nothing for me, it was a lost cause. Did you pay with a credit card? That might be your only way of recouping any money.

 

Thanks guys... his ebay sn is sportclimber82. Luckily FedEx processed my claim so I didn't come out empty handed (lost out on $10-15).
