So... It's about time we do another track day meet!

Carolina Motorsports Park has a WEEKEND track event on July 17th, that would be just perfect for an s2k meet! Hardcore junkies can stay for Sunday too!



Driver's Ed Group is $190 if registered by July 3rd.
Solo Group is $150 if registered by July 3rd.

i'll most likely be in mexico city for a convention on the 13th to the 17th, but if you go to another cmp track day, let me know and i'll come along

 

I am planning on being there, but it will be the middle of June before I can commit. It's time for a little drivers ed.

 

Is it appropriate, and should I request any specific instructor?

 

If you know an instructor that's going to be there, I suppose you could make the request.

 

You can request a specific instructor. If s/he is not schedule they usually make the effort to contact them and see if they could come down.

July 17th... that is when the U-boat got its first taske of that track.... good times, good times.

 

I wouldn't bet on the 1 day price being good for 2 days

They don't have anyone to update their website, and they were not even willing to let me do it for track time

If you are planning this weekend event, I would call and double check the cost. I'd hate for someone to feel they got skeerood

I would love to be there, but that is my aniversiary weekend, and the wife loves the dragon, but hates the track, and I havn't been married for 21 years by being incredibly stuipid.

Right -- each day is a separate event with separate entry fees. So, both days DE=380, Solo=300.

PSS - newbies watchout if sheila goes, she is SLOOOOOWWWW. I think i lapped her like 30 times.... per 20 minute session.
