Default airgate Drives the New ELEMENT SC

So...how do you top an ultra-productive day at the office (heavy sarcasm here folks)...well, you visit a Honda dealer. For me...anyway.

The new ELEMENT SC...which I imagine the "SC" is for "Street Crusier" versus the much more welcoming "SuperCharged." At any rate, being that I simply LOVE ELEMENTs (did you know that?), I had to take a look...and a drive.

I snapped these shots around Morehead City...some of 'em came out niiiiice!

On the coast...

Comparison shots...guess which is mine...ha!

Overall...the ELEMENT SC is quite nice...although I thought it was a bit on the pricey side with a sticker of $24k+. Still...for what you get...not bad...but not the deal I got on mine back in May of '05. the 2007 ELEMENTs get improved torque (don't we all need some of that) and 10 more hp. I could actually feel the improvements right away and I never floored her. By far, the interior was the best improvement with a very nice center console...upgraded fabrics...carpeted floors and shiny "piano black" trim made for a classE ride.

But hey...the ELEMENT was never that...it was utilitarian...affordable...you get the idea. Was the SC nice? SURE! Was it nice enough to make me trade? NO WAY!

Nice shots! Only problem is the SC doesn't have a rear spoiler. All that power and the
a$$ end is going to be all over the place!

Seriously though, is it AWD and manual or automatic?

Funny...about the spoiler...

As for AWD...no...it is 2WD. Auto or 5speed is available...

I still like the grey ones with the blue plastic panels.

There are alot of outside pics but none of the interior.......

I think I like the previous one's front end better too.
