Default 4.77 gears

Some of you know about the gears I had in my trunk well I finally put them in and holy $h!t. That car has become a totally different animal. Anybody who wants to keep their car n/a I highly recomend these gears.

I put 4.44's in mine and love em. I heard that 4.77's were too short for the AP1's. But shorter gears are a MUST for n/a cars.

I agree. Gears kick ass. Who did you finally get to install them for you? How is the whine?

John at jdm motorsports in fayettville did them an 0 whine from the gears

hmmm I wonder how hard it would be to put them in. I have like 3 people locally that I could do this job for that really want it. Have you compared acceleration to a stock S2000? I would love to see the improvement

Its actually quite easy to install/ switch out rear diffs. Mine took me about 4 hours by myself.

ah, you can't see them ... they are INSIDE of the the rear diff. The car would look the same.

it is a night and day difference. for example know when you shift hard from first to second you only chirp the tires well with the 4.77's you spin the tires. i just have to say if you keeping your S under 300whp i seriously advise using gears
