$240 MILLION - NC Lotto!
Alright...the NC Lotto is up to $240 MILLION!!!
That's right...MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLION!!!
So...what would YOU do if you won???
I'd buy an "S2000 Lodge" at the Dragon...you know...give "back" to the community.

1) Pay off my debt
2) pay off my parents debt
3) give my sister enough $$ to pay off her debt + future college costs
4) Invest the max 401(k) and the max Roth and traditional IRA for that tax year
5) 2 yrs salary - savings account (liquid in case of tragedy/need)
6) buy property (probably no more than $300k) in Charlotte
7) Buy apartment in NYC
8) Buy apartment in London
9) Buy flying lessons
10) buy small plane
11) buy private jet (and, well, a polit fly it)
12) See a good fin. manager and figure out what to do with the rest keeping enough to....
13) go to one new country each year for the next 20 years (figure about $80k including all spending and traveling costs)
I'd keep working, buy a daily driver, put nice things in my modest-sized house, enjoy my apartment/flat, travel at least one weekend a month and keep moving money from whatever my fin.manager tells me to do around (retirement or something as equally long term with moderate/low risk) and only use the interest gains to buy things like new houses (investment property) or perhaps begin investigating being an angel investor.
Soooooo I'm bored and I've actually thought about what I'd do with a lot of $$. To be fair I've only really reached "paying off my families debt and buying myself a house and maxing out retirement contributions for that year" concretely, in that order. Probably not the smartest but it's what I'd do

Let's see...
Taxes will be 51% which leaves something under $118M.
At a modest CD rate of 5.25 %, I can epect an annual income of $6,195,000 gross and with another 51% to taxes, a net of $3,035,550.
Or $8,316 per day.
Or $1,039 per work day hour.
At that rate I might be able to pay DEIGER's mechanic.

I would buy the Dragon and declare open season on those Idiots who cross the yellow line. Just kidding!!
Here is the real list.
1. Give first 10% to churches around country in need

5. Build my own track based resort development and put with in minutes of the Dragon.

1. Call Exotic Car of Raleigh to deliver a Lamborghini Mercielago Spyder to the front of my dorm by 12pm tommorow!
2. Write the a school a check to pay for my tuition for the Next 10 years!!! ahahhaha!
3. Drive my lambo back to charlotte to house shop, and get a condo downtown in one of the towers.
4. Invest and lay back while reaping all the benefits from the investments only!
5. Suprise mom and pops and let them reap the benefits as well as all the other family members.
6. Tons towards Charity!
