Well, it has been 13 years since Linda has had a brand new car -- after almost 30 years of putting up with me, she deserves a new one to replace the 98 Ody. Here are the criteria:
No more Mommymobile minivans (but may keep the 98 as a DD for me)
Good trip car for our travels
Good DD to/from work in city/suburban traffic
Doesn't have to be fast, but should have respectable road manners
Good fuel economy -- 30 mpg +/- hwy
We are diehard Honda owners, so I guess it will be one of: Civic, Accord, or TSX.
Thanks
PS to Airgate -- I know Anna has had both an '06 Civic and an '08 Accord, both coupes, right? -- how do they compare?

No 30mpg, but high 20s is attainable. They're wonderful cars.

Thanks for all the great advice. We did not have a chance to go look/drive this weekend, but you all have given us a long list to check.
She really wants a new car, so that puts the TL or a 3-series outside the budget. May look anyway, who knows?

Mazda 3.
It's really one of my favorite cars at the moment. Well built, reliable, great seats, affordable, great fuel mileage, lots of room for people and stuff.
