Default **PICS OF MY WHEELS**

Well beleive it or not (Mulder) I took some pictures and here they are. It's my first attempt at painting metal so don't flame me if there is anything wrong!!!!














So give me soem feedback on what ya think about them, like em' or not!!!!

Wow Matt! You never cease to amaze me with what you will do, and what you will do well. I am not nearly that brave, and it looks great to me.

Yeah Matt, those wheels look great. Black on red is always a good choice. I read some other threads that you might get your wheels powder coated. Why did you do it yourself instead?

I decided to do it myself because I had some free time and, PC is too much $$$ if you don't like the end results. I figured if I didn't like it all I had to do is re-paint or remove the old paint.

I just bought some primer, high heat paint, clear coat, and some wheel protectant. I washed the wheel with a solvent to remove all the grease, then with a mild detergent dried applied the primer, wet sanded, 2nd coat of primer, sanded then 3 coats of paint with 3 coats of clear and 1 coat of wheel protectant.
