Young racing driver
Its been a good day so far.
Started with a knackered alternator again and whilst swapping various bits of knackered alternators over on the driveway i was approached by two guys and a teenager.
The young fella was interested in the S2000 and what i had done to it. Told him that i do alot of trackdays but its getting too expensive and his dad commented that the family know all about that
Turns out that the young fella is a local racing driver who has only been racing for two years but has already moved up the ranks very quickly. We had a good chat about motorsport and the costs and how its funded and it was pretty clear that the family is very motivated to get to the top tier of motorsport and it appears that he has the skills to do it. It was interesting listening to the stories of how hard it is to get on the ladder but his ability must obviously stand out as his racing team were quick to grab him.
If anyones interested you can read about him here

He has shown an interested in helping me work on the S2000 after he has finished his GCSE's and seems like a really nice young fella. Would be good for a few people to like his facebook page and follow his progress.
