Yet another NSX Rumour

Actually, Lamborghini's a very good example of exceptions, which prove the rule:
A manufacturer of central heating equipment and tractors; sounds like Honda!
cf. the 'bike industry; there's little brand loyalty, although bikers tend to be better informed of the status quo of the products and change accordingly. Is the car industry likely to move in that direction? Personally, I think not; like clothing/electronics, branding is a safe substitute for knowledge. I'm not sure the brands are as transient as in the electronics industyr, for example.

I can never see Honda being held in the same group as BMW/Audi/Mercedes and definately not Porsche.
To me, that is a good thing though
Clever people who like cars will buy the GT5000.
But I feel Gad is right about the Ring time - it will have to comfortably beat the GT-R in order to sell.
Doesn't matter how well it rides/perofrms on the road, uses half it's cylinders and will probably never see the Ring!

IKWYM, but the solid residuals of german repmobiles makes them a self-fulfilling prophecy: the lease rate of a BMW is far less than its asking price, so they sell.
The other way to look at it is; the insecure will rush out and buy the GT-R/GT5000/ZR1 because of the times and the kudos, and jump off when the next bus comes past.
E Presto! lots of secondhand choices for us petrolheads.
