Wow 211k miles
Not the most exciting story but...
I have just drove an 'R' reg Toyota Rav4 petrol, my grandad's mate said it wasnt idling properly and to save him some money i said i'd have a look at it for free. It was the ISC valve on the throttle body, i removed it cleaned that also cleaned the throttle body too with carb cleaner it idles fine now
Thing is it still drives great for a car that has 211k on it wow!, thats some damn good engineering! but i dont think he rags it being 72!
Anyhow he made me some tea and biscuits, and tried to give me some eggs his chickens had laid haha, i said your okay the tea is fine
haha old people

Where I used to work about 4 years ago, we shared the building with a company that supplied those 'fold out' trailers that you see at car shows. Anyway, for a long while they had BMW's 1 million mile 3 series parked in the car park. (google it!)
The funny thing was that the thing was plastered with foot high decals stating 1 million miles on Mobil1 on every panel. One day it went to the local BMW dealership for a service. (Damon Hill BMW in Leamington) Apparently, the dealership called back asking what brand of oil to put in it!

I was out in Hungary doing a Go & See a few years ago. They had a Toyota Ambulance that had done something like 2 Million miles. Unfortunately it got hit by another car and written off.
