Yes they do - I'm just saying that "most" women vs "most" men... if you take an average bloke and train him hard, and an average woman and train him hard, would they both get to the same level?
I honestly don't know

Interesting question.
If we took most sports then the answer would be no. I'm unsure for motorsport though as stamina/strength plays less of a part in the competition than other sports.
I'd probably say that it makes no difference in m/sport.

I think physical limitations are non-existent.
Skill?
Well, Michele Mouton should have been Group B Rally champion which, IMHO, means she had more driving skill than anyone in the Formula 1 paddock.

Knowing what a 20 minute race in my Caterham takes out of me, I imagine the same in an F1 car would kill me
I don't buy the rally driver > race driver either but that's another debate entirely.

I did a couple of kart enduro's a few years ago (not the arrive and drive lawnmower ones like Daytona )
45 minute stint on a very tight track as the sun went down. Fantastic experience, but my hands and forearms were completely numb by the end of it - simply steering with my shoulders.

It will happen as soon as:
Harvey Nicks open branches in the Pit lanes.
The steering wheels incorporate lipstick holders.
Child seats can be strapped atop the engines.
