In the City I find I get most annoyed at cyclist that think the highway code does not apply to them, which is half of them, and dozey pedestrians that don't look before crossing roads.

Oh...and a few more having driven all of seven miles to work this morning:

People who park/drive in cycle lanes.
Driver of a blue Merc C240 in front of me who maintained 23 MPH for over two miles in a 40!
Those who think just because their hazards are on, it's ok to park on double yellows.
Those who fail to give way when their side of the road is blocked/give way to the right.

people that yell and scream at you and haven't got the balls to back it up outside of the car

people that block exits (yellow hatched or otherwise)

people that will not merge in turn - despite instructions

people that get arsey when their attempts to cut you up are thwarted

people who won't move into the inside lane and then get arsey when you safely undertake them

AND

those idiots who don't see you indicating for a parking space to reverse into and then drive up your chuff as you slow to a stop

(I once held traffic up for 10 minutes forcing someone who did that to back up, along with the queue behind them - most satisfying)

Would take too long to list and start off my day in a negativity-embracing way that my therapist wouldn't approve of

You guys need to calm down !!

My beater is now a Diesel Merc (auto) with blacked out glass. I ignore everyone - undertake stupid people at will and listen to the Radio / iPod and chat on the phone.

Life's too short and drivers are just getting worse.

If you want to play - take the toy out at the weekend and use the roads properly - otherwise, give up.

I can't believe this thread has reached page 3 without a mention of inappropriate use of fog lights!

I am continually astonished by the number of people who put their fog lights on at every opportunity...particularly when it is raining - this ranges from irritating to down right dangerous (particularly on motorways in heavy rain / spray when the fog light obscures brake lights).

Not so much a driving trait, but does there seem to be a disproportionately large number of people with knackered headlamps these days? One light on full beam and one dipped, for example.
