Other road users; it's now got to the stage where I am surprised if I am behind a vehicle that is making reasonable progress, indicating & generally using the correct lane discipline. Actually adrenalin-shocked if it's an Audi, Benz or Range Rover - and some actually do.

The one that's been getting me recently is people not waving thanks when, due to a parked car, you wait to let them pass. Particularly annoying if you've sat there for a moment or two. Seems to be dying art.

And of course, by the time you've confirmed you're not going to get a thanks, they're past and it's too late to give them another gesture ...

Oncoming cars crossing the white line on your side seems to be getting quite bad. Lane discipline in general really. Great when I'm in the Warrior though

There have been times when I've not done that and been conscious that I haven't done that. But it's been because I've been carefully navigating the gap/avoiding the pot hole and either need both hands on the wheel or I'm changing gear.

Or sometimes I'm adjusting the radio.

Only takes raising a couple of fingers.

No, not like that...

I normally go for the overly sarcastic wave in that scenario.

I am willing to forgive those women (invariably) who clearly need to keep both hands clamped to the wheel at all times and who, if they try even the slightest wave, swerve worryingly from the straight ahead. But no one else ...

At least that's what they assume will happen, or that you'll just disappear as they move into your lane.
As any good driving guide or association will remind you, if you leave sufficient distance between the vehicle in front its impossible to be 'cut up'.

Unfortunately it's routine to tailgate in the overtaking lanes these days.
But such drivers have no automatic right to police access to 'their lane' of course, a fact I remind them of daily.
So if I want to join it to pass and you are tailgating in an overtaking lane, you are going to get cut up.
I'm in a BMW too - if that helps.

What is it with bints who speed up as you move over a lane to pass them?
Normally we both get to about 15mph above 'target' and I give up, slow and pull back in behind them.
Only to find that the twats slow back down again.

LOL at the little people.
