You probably get less from roadster driverds because they're out in the open.

These twats in their repmobile cocoons think they're invincible. Until the lights change.

But there are increasing levels of mental instability out there. Although TBF, road conditions are sometimes enough to drive St. Christopher into road rage attack.

I would just put it down to experience, remembering that there really are some 'A' holes out there.

I had an experience earlier this week.

Driving down a dual carrageway - traffic slowing up ahead, some p#ick in a Escort van swerves infront of me at the very last minute and nearly took my bumper off!!

I did nothing, no lights, no horn, NOTHING.

We then went through the junction and onto another stretch of dual carriagway, he stayed in the right hand lane doing about 35 - 40mph! So after about a mile I indicated into the left lane and under took him (I know, I know)

At the the next junction he's right behind me blowing his horn and gesticulating masturbation at me!! I ignored him. He's now continually blowing his horn, again I just ignore him. I drive off normally with him behind me and knowing that everyone in the traffic is thinking what a complete, imature idiot he is. He got bored and turned off 2 miles later!! P#ick!!

Just ignore them .......and carry on.....but don't put yourself in any danger along the way. Get on a dual carriageway or motorway and just keep driving, they'll get bored eventually.
Good advice, they soon get bored.

U never know what someone is capable of. They may look like the weediest guy in the world, and u may be built like a wrestler, but if they have a knife or anything you are screwed.

This is happening more and more sadly.

Had some prat a few months ago try to have a go at me after he'd cut me up at a junction and I'd warned him of my presence by hitting the horn. He decided to follow me and at the next set of lights he was out of his car and banging on the drivers window cursing and swearing at me. He was built like the proverbial brick outhouse so there was no way I was dealing with him and his high blood pressure/short fuse combination.

He soon gave up when he saw "Dialling ... 999" on the screen of my phone as I held it up for him to see.

I had an experience with a Mazda 6 driver this morning. Some riced thing with a fat twin exhaust and go faster stickers on it. Boy, he didnt like the fact that i had a faster motor than him.

I left him after pulling off a roundabout on a dual track, got to 75ish and was overtaking cars. When he eventually caught up he hung literally a few inches off my bumper gesticulating for me to move over. Once i had finished overtaking, i pulled in to let him past, which he did. then he proceeded to pull in front of me in order to turn left at the roundabout and slammed on the anchors. I quickly moved back into the right lane (could tell he was going to do something like that so was ready for it) to turn right at the roundabout. Turned to him and just laughed at him as i passed him.

If you ever read this, you are a c0ck. and should be banned from driving.

This stuff does worry me.

I've had someone do an emergency stop in front of me before, block my path then get out and shout at me. He had his wife in his car, I had my hubby in the passenger seat. Hubby was wise enough just to ignore him, but I was in tears (was only a little 23 year old in a Clio at the time).

I'm conscious of being a woman in a fast car now - I'm a tad paranoid of other road users being irritated by me when I overtake (completely safely of course!). I just know that it would wind up some men (sorry to seem sexist, but it usually is) who can't take the fact that a chick has done that to them.

So, guys, if you are scared of road rage out there - just think about us girls!! Yes - there are plenty 'men' out there who take exception to us. I remember Dawn's (Stookystar) post on her experience with a less than kind motorist who took exception to her overtaking him.

i see people driving like pricks all the time, i do about 30k a year currently. i used to get riled but i dont anymore.

years ago i did pull a guy out of his car once after he'd just tried to kill me but he deserved that and all i did was frighten the sh1t out of him. he was doing 10mph up hill and had a more powerful car than me and as soon as i tried to overtake he sped up, then when i braked he did the same so i was stuck on the wrong side of the road..

that imho is very dangerous driving. he will think twice about it in future tho.

sounds like you met a nutter. most bm drivers have very small c0cks so have to drive like they're on steroids to prove something

Thanks for all your comments.

Phils2k - I was thinking about aclling the poilce, as you say, I drove down the bus lane and went through a red light, don't want any nasty suprises through the letter box.

As Smiffy555 says, I will just put this down to experience and hope that I do not come across him again.
