Could it be possible that a 911 engine in a Cayman could be a better car than the 911 itself? It is worth asking that question and perhaps Porsche should think about it too. Maybe even a mid engined 911 would be heaps better than the rear mounted engine of the current car. I however don't think Porsche will ever admit to it or change it but then again...

I thought the Coxster looked pretty good actually but why would anyone buy one?
I'd have a Boxster S any day of the week and if I had the cash a 997S......I agree with JC the Coxster is pointless

I agree with Rahula:
The lack of an LSD is so cynical, it is obvious what Porsche's game is.
Even with its profane old Ford struts, a Cayman in full 911 spec has its engine in the correct place and should be a far better drive.
Porsche's engineer's have quietly admitted that the Boxster is a better driver's car than the 911, the Cayman potentially could be a beauty.
Apart from its double wishbones and a few other goodies, I suspect that it is actually the 911 that is really pointless.
Where's me toolkit? I'm off to Hatfield to do some breakin' an' enterin'!

It will tempt ex TT owners, so Porsche should sell plenty
Most of these people will only care about power steering
Over and understeering will be off their radar

he is paid to say what he thinks, not suck up to a company like the EVO twats
so it's 5 secs a lap quicker than a 911 turbo?
wonder which one I'd rather have
owners will care even less
apart from down the pub

Well, there goes your proof!
How much is a GT3 these days? Or a Carrera S?
But with 4x4s, toasters & radios, I think it is only the badge snobs they're after. Gaddafi is right, once again!
