Clarkson slagged off another Porsche, a Boxster coupe = Coxster, very funny. It seems his beef with it is that it is too clinical, with no passion. Not too sure what he means by that but IMHO it's better looking than the Boxster (s'pose that's not too difficult!)

I think Clarkson's point about the Gaymen is my suspicion confirmed:
The Boxster S is a tactile, open car. The Cayman should have been very, very good in a more performancy way, but that they have deliberately souped it down, in order that it doesn't show the 911 up as a POS.
Consequently, it feels like a Civic 2.0 and not like a Civic Type-R.
Contrarily, the early S2000 is batting slightly above its class, so feels very exciting, if flawed.
