it was the only colour that was free. I was not going to pay £800 or whatever it was over 2 years to have a different colour.

but thankfully, it looks quite striking and is a pleasant change on our street scape that is otherwise full of 50 shades of grey.

if you get the cost of the lease, ie you clear £280 and the lease costs £280 then where does the cash in your pocket come from?

at £200 they are a snap but dorris wasnt interested and that's probably good given her penchant for kurbed wheels, scuffed bumpers and general scratches.

Styling- it's much more GTI-esque and had much more toys on board. It isn't like the older gloomy GT diesels inside. My brother in law has the GT TDI bluemo 150 with DSG 2013 MY. Not for me thanks, they aren't as imposing looking. So we can get 67mpg (allegedly) for a better looking car that's even nippier- why not? Plus- they are the same lease price as the slightly more frugal 150bhp?
Go and sit in one/drive one - 100% your Doris will be won over. Gti/GTD/R has class leading interior.

I was gonna go Red too, but Maude was having none of it. Carbon Grey was fave but then I saw one in Pure White and I had to have one. Think it was £560 for the colour.

At least yours is a change from the usual Lapiz (although gorgeous colour that matches the blue interior Led).

I'll be honest, you can barely hear the engine. It must be one of the quietest diesels ever.

yes, a personal lease. £400+ on a 6+23 now though, I've been waiting 6 months

The cash in your pocket comes from the fact I listed in the above example. A personal lease avoids a company tax overhead. If you take a company car, you 1. Loose your allowance (our hypothetical 280) and 2. Get bent over on tax, to the tune of 500 a month as a taxable burden. The part 2 is the cash you will save.
