I'll spend a lot more than £200 a month on my old nails over the next two years but if I had some in warranty new car instead I'd be bored rigid.

Hope so. Doris has gone half in with me and the first time it breaks / doesn't start it will be 'I told you so'

Even if the engine goes pop, stick a used one in for 2k and still likely make back the value of the car after a year. Basically you can afford to blow a few k on it and still not lose vs a lease. There's deffo pros and cons, but will be interesting to see if the gamble pays off.

Funnily enough we've seen about 5 Golf Rs since
deciding and hoping it's not an omen
