the signs (all signs) are evidence of a rather sad and needy desire to project feelings and values onto other road users
"I slow down for horses" is another one
well good for you - so do I
but I don't feel the need to advertise the fact or believe that it's my responsibility to reproach other road users - there often seems to be some implied criticism with these signs
however, like foglight usage in clear conditions, these signs are a useful early twat warning device

You can thus be assured that the smug driver slows down for everything, usually just to be bloody awkward, for I'm sure that without anybody behind they continue normally.
And don't get me going about horse boxes driven at 20mph by butch women. The dam things slow to walking pace at every corner so that some rich birds dobbin in the back does't break its flipping legs. The queues created compete with those behind 2 wheeled porta-loos - sorry caravans.

I have an unhealthy hatred for these signs as well. They serve no purpuse other than to inform others of some pointless piece of information either about their cars cargo or their fondness of four legged animals.
There is an oldish woman at work who has "Babe On Board" stuck to her rear window. Yeah what ever luv, I think I'll be the judge of that. Needless to say she's far from anyones idea of a "babe"

For the ultimate in failed novelty bumper stickers I think these win hands down...
Might deter tailgaters though?

Maybe some sort of "I stop for red lights", or "I slow down / stop when the lights go amber" sticker would be useful
I know that as I've approached changing lights if I'd stopped I would have got a car through the back window.
This actually meant I "got off" a red light camera ticket, as my reason was my going through prevented an accident ie there was no way the scooter behind me could have stopped if I had.
