you having a laugh Bada?
He won races, so has Coulthard.
The British love him, despite his lack of a world title just as they did Coulthard.
Only difference is he drove when drivers risked their lives, and DC and Button don't.
Why is Moss any different? And I have read a fair amount on him.
Stewart is a legend, and has the championships to back that up. Moss was simply a good driver. The press seem to have these two facts mixed up.

I don't - I think he is a typical whinging wanker - it's everyone's fault but his
most people I talk to don't rate him or like him
I think your perception of Stewart is also slightly coloured (can't imagine why ). I can't think of a more smug yet boring bastard, apart from Raikkonen.
To return to your original post, about the only thing Button, Coulltard and Moss have in common is that they drove cars in a category called formula one
To use the word 'great' in association with Coulthard is laughable
And in the case of Button, wildly hopeful
About the only British driver held in the same esteem as Moss is Mansell
English as well

Mansell and Stewart are champs, legends etc.
Moss and Coulthard have won races - that's really all I was getting at.
