Cool Some more BMWs tested

Hello all,

Went on a BMW multimodel launch yesterday, it was near Newbury. Some great roads between Newbury and Wantage, and out towards the Swindon-Marlborough road. Eight cars were supposedly on show

It'll do an indicated 141 in 4th gear... and it has three ratios to go. Get rid of that speed limiter, please!
Is that something that punters can ask BMW to disable before delivery, subject to signing the usual disclaimers? Or is it removable as an after-market modification by BMW tuners? Presumably it must be - no point making a car like that otherwise.

Nice review.

[QUOTE=Paper Lawyer,Oct 20 2006, 01:28 PM] Straying away from Matt's review (interesting to see your take ont he M6 convertible after reading EVO's review last night), my neightbour had the AM Vantage earlier this year - four months out of six in the garage (although six weeks due to XC70 reversing into it - the dented bonnet repairs took so long that the Masser Quatroporte hire car meant a
