Z4 makes a lot of sense when taking in to account what you are asking for. They are a very underrated car indeed.

TT doesn't feel like a sports car, a friend has one and its more like a medium size hatchback to drive. I appreciate it uses the Golf floorpan but I was expecting it to feel a bit different.

I don't count s mpg as thirsty. I spose I didn't daily drive it and it was 5 years of weekend toy but it seemed good to me on mpg. The rs seemed to need an oil refinery on a trailer.

I like the z4 reason I looking at tt is it has rear seats which you can still
use even if it is a squeeze. Plus I fancy something sporty and turbo it makes sence.
330ci could be a maybe although to me a bit boring then the tt to look at.

Drove my S 80 miles a day for three years. Loved it.

Think most of us probably regret selling or still wish we had an S.

Have you tried the TT back seats? You can if needs be get a person back there. But not with a seat belt on.

But it still has back seats . No one needs a seat belt as if I braked hard there would not be far to go

The newer TT is a handsome thing, still lacks the pzazz of the Golf Gti (maybe its Quattro spoils the fun part of package, even though its set a FWD until it breaks away). Point to point, they move on but computer game steering has always been the bugbear and put me off. TT's are more style, you'd have a bit more of a laugh in a 330Ci.
Try one, its always the best answer
