Default Self appointed road police

Yet another twonk on the road thinking they will stop road behaviour they consider to be unacceptable.

On the way home from work the road at one point goes into two lanes and drops from NSL to 40. At the first lights they are both straight on and the second lights about 400 yards further on are straight on in the left and right turn only in the right. It's a perfect brief opportunity to get past slower cars as just after it goes back to NSL.

2 cars in front of me as the road splits into two lanes, the Jap 4x4 in front of me pulls into the right lane. then just paces the car in front at 30. Fair enough if he turns right. He doesn't. He waits until just after the 2nd light, just before the point of no return and pulls in. Tosser. It was clear attempt at blocking. Yet I never pulled out as I kind of saw what he was about to do.

Fair enough I thought. But in a mile there's a brief stretch of dual carriageway, in an NSL. I'll get past them both there. The first one pulls off before then. The 4x4 just carries on at 45.

As we approach the dual, he positions himself on the right before the road even splits. And he stays there for the whole stretch. All this while, I've stayed further behind him than he was behind the car in front. Not been agressive.

They're either a blithering idiot or self righteous road police. Fortunately I have a few horses at my disposal so I dispatched them at the next opportunity. But I was lucky to get that as it's a busy road.

But just why? Do they not realise they're actually making the roads more dangerous by making people frustrated?

Perhaps, he's so inept at driving he didn't know you wanted to get past.

Either way it

Be content in the thought his 4x4 will have lost more this month
in value than his payments.

He has depression due to his road tax and depreciation!
Rise above it and laugh at him.

Now its the people that see the queueing and try to jump into filter lanes that deserve to be shot.

They cause the queues in the first place!

Buy a BMW - I've found that since I've bought mine, I can drive like a c*ck and no one is surprised

This morning I took my son to school and we had great fun over/undertaking and darting in and out as all the fools tottered along the dual carraigeway at 45 mph because it was a little wet.

I'm quite enjoying being an outcast
