I did have HR mention something about the bribery act until I pointed them to my memo that accompanied the new car list which said 'Audi have a particuarly bad lead time' Got a number of A3's on order that won't arrive till March / April.

If I ever get offered any 'perks' I have to get MD / FD approval and as they wanted to play in this, the approval process was very quick Don't think the MD wanted to give me it back on Saturday morning.

MB unfortunately Lotus aren't on the list, nor Astons or Ferraris so I won't get to test drive them

EDIT - Cold and Flu tablets have now kicked in and realised you meant when I go to the Motor Show! Of course I'll take some photos. Won't be back till about midnight on Thursday but will post up on the Friday Isn't the new Evorva on show?

We just had an email from our HR director regarding this sort of thing.

So no more free laptops or lap dances for the IT department now

Don't get me started on the interfering zombies & the Bribery Act!

Not until Fred Goodwin's been executed & the Politiciunts have been jailed for fraud/lying/cheating/self-serving.

But no; it continues & the take, take, take from the few left with real jobs continues.

Glad Audi's seen the sense not to be frightened by it & give you a nice gratuity to play with for a few days. They are quite an interesting car, for a modern.

I didn't see a single one all weekend but I also didn't see another S. Did see a gorgeous white GTR on the moors which we followed for a little bit.

i dont see many R8s at all.. neighbour had one when his DB9 broke, he wasnt happy when i told him it was a trade up

i see lots of 911s, i follow a cayman out of the station car park most nights too (though i'm in the vectra this week because some hurricane is supposed to be bringing trees down and that wouldnt notice)

i cant decide on my next car, i've pondered many things in the last few months and still no answers.. still it's healthier for my bank balance just to stick on pondering i think

I've been pondering my next car having had it with the GT100 and all the things that are going wrong with them. Had my heart set on a Porsche Cayman S, especially as the running costs are cheaper than my S.

However, on Saturday I picked up my S after a week in Marshall Honda, York and it's had a new gear box and boy does it feel like a different car. I even opted to drive it back from York and gave Mr CJ the R8. I think I may have started to fall back in love with my S

Having said that if I had enough money I would have an Ibis White R8 Spyder
