just fitted a full set of Vred setanzas for less than £600, full set of discs and pads £654 +vat, i am wary of cost but up to now its all been within reason, a lot of the running gear is off the M3 so plenty of options i would imagine it gets into organ donation sums when its parts specific to just the M coupe
I could be wrong and just lucky -for now, hope not

A friend has recently bought the 2.7 litre diesel version of the XF and it is a very nice car, particularly inside. I'd certainly try the petrol version before committing to a 3 series

are S3s and Golfs really hot hatches?
i'd say in terms of running costs they should be reasonable compared to the porka's and Ms
boxster S or Cayman doable?

Popped into the dealer this afternoon and had a look at a Z4M coupe.
Probably a mistake as i like it.
A lot.
Edit: i meant the coupe, not the roadster.

New one with tin top or rag top?
Rag top Roadster is a nads faster than the coupe but the coupe has 3 times the body stiffness
both similar interior so you choose between slightly better handling over top down motoring, a bit more boot space on the coupe if thats important
its a nice engine lots of torque, did you think it felt front heavy? comming from the S it feels heavy up front, just different i suppose

The one i looked at was an 56 M coupe with 11k miles.
Overpriced though. Dealer had it up for 24k.
Offered me around £10k for my S.
Insurance seems similar, next service on that one is a oil service then followed by the inspection 2. Obviously buying from a main dealer means it comes with a year's warranty.
Inspection 2 would probably be around 25k miles away from where the car is now. I do around 10k miles per year so that doesn't seem too bad......
I can see where this is going.

what stereo option did it have? the one with screen built into the dash is the high end system, not sure it adds money but its easier to shift later as a lot of people want it.
11k miles is low for a 56 plate
what color?
