S2000 replacement suggestions

You did not like the interior? I have not spent much time in XF, but the interior looked nice to me... B&W audio, the knob for the transmission selector, and moving air vents... Then again a friend was considering an XF and ended up in a BMW 530 instead. To me the XF should not have happened. It was a rush design that should've been made via Aluminium Rivet Bonding like XJ & XK.

The interior is a masterpiece. A real 'Old Master'.
Not for the under 50's

I can feel the road and car much more than I could in the XJ8. There's two S2000's in my neighborhood. I sure miss driving that car. My back wished the S2000 good riddance. If the seat was more adjustable, I may’ve kept it after the lease. Seeing what the pay-off was in 2005 and what the S2000 sells for now, I made a big mistake not keeping it. Oh well.
Before you write the XK off as being too old, take one for drive first.
Even though Jaguar is a British brand, the cars have the reputation as being cruisers rather than sports cars and designed for the pipe and slippers generation.
The ladies that would be attracted by an XK are more likely to of the Golden Girls generation.

There's a great thread on jaguarforums.com about an experienced driver who took their XKR Mosport Intl Raceway. The XKR equalled/beat the best names on the road including Viper, Vette, 911 TT. The XKR hit 140 on the straight.

Actually, the 'pipe & slippers' reference made me too. Austin Powers isn't real either. Not all BMWs are E21 520s driven too fast by company accountants...
I don't really understand the E1 segment, but the XF looks fine to me. A couple of neighbours have them. Colin smokes ciggies, not a pipe...I know it's a recycling of DEW98, but that couldn't be helped.
I know Mikey K found the XK not hard enough for his tastes, but the XK is a truly modern car and about 300Kg lighter than the dinosaur it replaced.
JLR are quite good at those cow n' tree interiors; the Germans are laughably bad at it. S-Klasse or Maybach anyone?
