Nokia 6310i is perfect for those bluetooth kits

That's because the 6310i was the phone of choice for ALL of the inbuilt car kits in the premium cars and for a good reason, Nokia designed it properly as a bluetooth audio phone. Whilst I am a big fan of progress, this is a piece of history that is worth hanging onto if you want faultess bluetooth functionality.

Hill start assist is a nice feature you might not know you have on the car. Also should be a first aid box under the passenger seat and a wee warning triangle thing behind the rear number place (inside the boot). Have fun :-)

Haven't driven it that much yet to really comment.
Drove it back home from the previous owner last night which was all motorways and in convoy with my mother who i roped in to help me collect it.
So just a steady 70-80 down the motorway. With the cruise control on it was achiveing 30mpg at a steady 80. I didn't think that was bad.
I then managed a 10 minute blast around some of the familiar country roads around my house in the dark. Its going to take some recalibration of driving style because it goes particulalry well from 4k rpm to around 7.5k rpm and then hits a soft limiter at around 8.5k rpm but the best of the power has been had by then.
But it feels a lot quicker and i found myself going much faster than i would have in the S.
Car does have hill start assist, but i have no idea how it works or how to use it yet
The car feels more of a blunt instrument than the S at present. All the controls are heavier and even the steering wheel is much fatter in the rim which adds to the chunky feel of the car. But then it will take a bit of time to get used to it.
Gearchange on this car is more notchy than other versions i've driven but ok. No where near as good as the S2000 gearchange, but then that is the best i've ever used so its not surprising.
I'll give it a proper thrash later and take some pics
I've got the bluetooth code, but haven't managed to get it into pairing mode yet Previous owner had issues with that too so its going to take some fiddling.
