£45 all in, you are not supposed to have done more than three track days to sign up, not sure how they govern that rule
I'd pay good money to watch Rich try and drive like a novice track day driver - I'd give him about three corners before the tyres are squealing in protest

Let's have some pics up!

Its not the black one. The dealer wasn't prepared to move enough on price so i've ended up buying privately.

Its Interlagos blue and the most important thing about it is that is has the 3.2L straight 6 engine with 343bhp

Other than that it has all the bells and whistles like sat nav, bluetooth, BMW logic 7 stereo, cruise control, rear park sensors, etc etc and isofix

I pick it up on friday. Can't wait.

I have no plans to track it as it won't compare to a caterham. But don't quote me on that.

Anyone want to buy an S2000?

I'm not planning on thrashing it but at £45 it's cheap enough to have a play and see how far away I'm driving it from it's limits presently

Does one of those three corners include the pit exit on the warm up lap

Photos will follow. I'm collecting on friday evening and it may well be dark by the time i get home and then i'm away for the weekend (won't even be driving it ) so pics might have to wait until sunday.

Make sure you get the bluetooth code from the current owner when you pick it up. It's £35 to get BMW to give you the code.

apparently it's on a label in a particular compartment of the car. But thanks for the headsup.

I just spoke with the current owner about collection arrangements, mentioned the bluetooth code and he said that he had problems pairing the bluetooth and that BMW also struggled to make it work. Apparantly there is a knack to get the initial pairing work and he will show me how to do it on collection.

Mind you, if you have any kind of modern phone (less than 2 years old) there's a high chance your phone won't work with it anyway.

And yes, the code is written on the blue tooth unit, but getting to it is easier said than done.

I ended up never using mine in the M3, because even when I had the code, my phone was just too modern.

Mine only had basic functions with my Nokia N95 but works perfectly with my iPhone 4 which was a nice surprise given the above.

You will have to get one of those bluetooth headseats now you have an M car.
