Is this a record?!
Picked up new car last Monday - just got a letter today - 36 in a 30 2 hours later - marvellous!!
Worse still it's a recently extended 30, was National limit in that area until a few weeks back. I would be annoyed but it's actually a bit funny!
Hoping will "qualify" for driver education

Where was it, CB?
My mum got pulled over on the A35 through St Leonards where they have dropped a bit to 30.
Dorset police are being an absolute bunch of ****s lately.
My mum also got pulled because her plate had no kite mark on it, and an england / euro flag. WTF?!
They are proudly advertising on buses about their zero tolerance stance. Tossers. Drives me mad that they are expending so much time and money on pulling people for minor infrigements.
The sign on one of the buses showed someone driving while playing with the stereo. Since when was that ****** illegal?!
If I get pulled, they are getting an earful. Sod the fine

Check the ABD website to find out if they've LEGALLY extended that 30 zone before you pay up.
Dorset must be a lovely county, if all the little pricks in authority can find nothing better to do.
Congrats on the record, BTW. Proves it's a truly fast car and one they couldn't ever hope to own on their local gov't pittances. I'd park it outside all their HQs and just pose there looking really smug. Probably a law against that, now.
Remind me not to visit...

ha ha! echo your thoughts exactly MB - bunch of twots! I'll bet they got all excited seeing a brand new sports car just over the limit! - indeed, had it been a stop rather than a sly camera van I would have had a job containing my smugness
It was on the A337 leaving Brockenhurst towards Lyndhurst, NOT a built up area - just a nice long enticing straight. Perhaps just as well am still running in!
If I do get to go to the Driver Awareness course will look forward to parking it outside
