I always wanted a 309 Goodwood when I was young
I had one for a while as a second car....... it was just a 309 GTI with a green paint job and a couple of stickers.
(The first car being a 205 1.9 GTI.)

Unbelievable how ignorant some people are! My hubbie and I love Integrales, but he has not bought one for fear of the running costs. We love seeing them on the road. Incidentally, when I met him he had that car's little brother, the HF Turbo. Needless to say it made an impression. Husband was only 19 at the time.

Fantastic car 80% of the time, but too fragile to run every day. They also need a constant watchful eye and pockets deep enough to put any problems right straight away. Being an early 20's bloke in London, I was always reluctant to spend money on the Lancia I could spend going out and meeting girls
I'd had an HF Turbo for a short while before the Integrale and obvoiusly hadn't learned.....

I didnt realise youd been in the Integrale club Mark - did you ever see Mikes? Obviously he only had it for 2 minutes but I think it cost him 4K to get through the MOT before selling it for 50% of what he paid for it ;-)

Many years ago Andy (1995ish), I didn't see Mikes, I see him about once a year it seems, and by then he's been through 6 cars....
Those figues do seem depressingly similar to mine (except I sold right at the bottom of the depreciation curve, a couple of years later it would have sold for double what I got for it).

there's an integrale parked on an estate near me, never seen it move so don't know if it can
I see very few old cars these days.. even fewer decent ones

Passed a Lambo Murcielago LP640 in flat Grey on the M25 on Friday morning. I wouldn't select that colour, he was handle visable in my rear view mirror after I paased him
The car looked mean as with one huge tailpipe and some orange tape on the A pillars.

and nothing to do with value/exotica etc
just something that by common consent, isn't seen very often
like a Hillman Imp
