Had the pleasure of a couple of passenger rides the weekend before, weather was red hot so had some fun blasting round Derbyshire! Both cars had 4 point harnesses which I have to say are a bit awkward, dont think you'd want them in a car you use daily!

R400 - very quick but my mate is just getting used to it

DB5 - this is a mates dads who is an absolute car nut. Its been fully rebuilt, new engine, adjustable suspension, wider track, upgraded brakes, bucket seats, FIA papers.. Was suprised how quick this was! Its Vantage spec 4.2 straight 6 which sounds amazing and is putting out about a 320bhp.

DB5 Conv - one of his others, not too many of these left. This is immaculate, which hes owned for 15 years now. Didnt get a spin in this but he says it still shifts!

His car collection is definitely worth more than the house! Mind you, he does have garaging for 9 cars and an overspill lock up unit down the road!

Remember a few years ago in evo a contributor bought a Carrera GT and had it repainted in yellow! It was a full shell paint job and cost about £9k! He said at the time it was the only yellow GT... Had PB on the reg when it appeared in evo if i rememeber...

Glad I found this thread. Ironically enough, I spotted this beauty on the way back from viewing BradR's (now my) S2000 just over a couple of years ago.

This is actually the second DeLorean I have genuinely spotted in my life - the first was outside a posh clothes shop in the village I grew up in - was only a (very excited) 9 years old at the time!

These things just aren't right with big wheels, comfy seats, weather gear, heater, windscreen and headlamps or going anywhere where there's a speed limit other than a pit lane.

But I know it's still fantastic, I miss mine and I'm insanely jealous.

Nice Astons too.

Saw a Dodge Charger in full "General Lee" colours last night in the Manchester Airport tunnels followed swiftly by a Corvette C6 coupe.

I’m a jazz widow again today so I decided to go and explore. I was poking around in the marina at Creeksea on the River Crouch when I was astonished to find this.

Only 181 were made and there are just over 100 remaining, so quite a rare car. John the owner spotted me admiring it and lifted the bonnet, which has got a quirky locking system, so I could see the V8.

He also let me sit inside. The car is in beautiful condition but he has yet to refurbish the burr walnut fascia. He loves it. It does 0 to 60 in around 6.6 and he says it is not happy until it gets there. It’s long-legged and ideal for touring.

The S didn’t like the deep loose gravel. It was nearly as bad as driving on snow.

I seriously like the look of this Jensen C V8 Mark 111. (It matched my toe nail polish exactly. ) My uncle had a gorgeous dark green Jensen in the early sixties which I think must have been a 541. It seemed quick to me at the time

As I was leaving I spotted a Daimler Dart. They’re funny-looking things, not many of them about either.

A very nice spot, MQ. My Dad had a Jensen Interceptor in the '70's 6.6 litre

he thinks it was a 1968. Auto though, so not that rare. It was this colour:
