Dont think you'll see many of these on the road...

DB5 Rally Spec

This has just come from a full rally spec rebuild with upgraded engine, roll cage, bucket seats, 4 point harnesses, timing gear, wider wheels/tyres, full respray... He's off to the Champagne rally this weekend in France...

Nice. I have mates in Dubai and seems it's a bit of a playground!
Yeah, its a pretty amazing place to do some car spotting!!

Got a fair few pics from just in my GFs dads underground carpark in Dubai Marina, let alone what we saw in a garage called Exotic Cars.. .

Will post some up later...

A work colleague has just bought one of these. It looks really cool. Sorry about the quality of the pictures they were taken at dusk with the crappy iPhone camera

First time I had ever seen one and the she told me that she only knew of 4 on the road at present.

Edit : It is a Mazda RX4 circa 1974

Must just be the angle, it was certainly a genuine F40, with reg to match. Looked awesome sat in traffic amongst the regular cars.
As there are around 8000 F40 plates available then don't take that as gospel of a true F40. There aren't that many of them, also what would be the first thing you bought for your F40 kitcar.........??

That one looks genuine though.

It was genuine! But yeah, take your point although i've yet to see a replica that can fool anyone who knows about about cars, theres always telltale things like the brakes are too small, or the wheels dont look right or the interior is wrong etc.

Sorry, yes it's a Mazda RX4 and it has had a custom respray. My pictures really don't do it justice, it does look better in the metal. Couldn't get a decent interior shot but it has cream leather which looks lovely.

As a footnote I have no idea what the guage is for in the engine bay. TBH I didn't notice it when I took the pictures as I was so excited at seeing the car.
