Dreamer poor you!
Moggy, your m5 fixing sounds expensive.
I am certain that one's perception of others' driving is definitely linked to one's own speed and the car one is in.
In the Landy, with a top speed of 85 but a comfortable cruise speed of 60, motorways are a very laid back place, with courteous lorry drivers, oodles of room in the middle lane and no reason to join the retards in lane 3.
In the S, things are usually a little more frustrating if on the m'way, but exciting on the B roads, looking for the next gap in traffic to overtake.
Last week, travelling in convoy up to Leics in the S and Mrs_6301's focus, we were again stress free, mostly due to keeping good convoy discipline and manoeuvring in pairs. We particularly had fun thwarting the attempts of a plonker in a merc from undertaking on the M1. PMR radios are the way ahead!
There are always some plonkers that will raise your blood pressure though. In particular, the M40/A34 roundabout, heading southbound, when NO-ONE seems to be able to pick the right lane and stick with it.
Ho Hum. Perhaps the daddy gene has kicked in and I am generally more mellow now?
