Looks a fit good to me.
Ignore the engine mount at the front, it's getting chopped out, decided on radical bellhousing surgery to shift the engine forward another inch.

Finally worked out where to route exhaust, airbox, intercooler, intake piping, dry sump tank, lines, throttle body......it's gonna be packed is all I'm saying! Lots of swearing forseen....

Indeed.

Nice to so so much real engineering on here after all the namby-pamby stuff about "what grade of clutch fork grease" etc.

Some remarkable projectrs going on, and that alone keeps me coming back to the forum.

(That and Greaves' wit, backed with Gad's very direct clarity of vision)

Nice work!

Generally, a great big helping of muddy water combined with whatever oil was floating in the puddle*

The engine is back out now as we've decided to chop 35mm off the bellhousing and weld a plate on it, lets us move the engine 25mm further forward again, wasn't going to bother but I think I'd regret it after all this effort!

*Graphite and molybdenum micro powder burnished on, anything else attracts the dust from the clutch and turns into grinding paste. />

Loom on the way from RyanGeorge next week so I can nick the connectors.

I might jerry-rig it up next week and see if she fires up. Be a touch loud with no exhaust manifold

Bellhousing, meet angle grinder.
Angle grinder, meet bellhousing. Bring your mate TIG:

Modified the release bearing too so the engine is another 30mm further forwards.

Bit of tidying up work, and a comparison to the old engine cage position...
