Okay, new front brake lines, front brake circuit bled, and she's ready for some more testing before the racing this weekend, fingers crossed we get there this time. If anyone is nearby it's at the Parkwood Offroad Centre, Tong/Bradford area.

Although it was good news, 6th overall, only 2 seconds off being 4th - and that was with the first 2 runs being 30s-1m slower while we made sure the new engine bearings, etc, were all good and checked things. It would still have been 4th if it wasn't for catching up another car on the last run too.

And by the afternoon the car had enough pace for 3rd place. In a 2wd car at an event we used to struggle at. It's getting faster!

Had the new rear springs on to match the revalved dampers, a new set of tyres (taller front, wider rear), and we still haven't turned up the engine yet.
