And after the last Top gear show with the V8 version, not as quick as expected for the horsepower they have.
Does have nice styling though.

I do like the looks of the 911 Targa but think the crazy roof mechanism will get a bit tedious after a while, but I prefer the Targa to a standard cabriolet 911.

i am going to save up for a corvette zora....mid engined,supercharged V8.. .

the thing that put me off was they said with roof off the turbulence was horrendous, much worse than the std ragtop..
form over function i guess

The Targa smacks of American-car gimmick-engineering; Ford Skyline Retractable, Ford Thunderbird convertible, Lincoln 4 door convertible, Buick Riviera clam-shell headlights, Eldorado sliding rear quarter windows; it's all for driveway and golf club car park appeal.

Apart from above, that car would have had more respect from me if they left the targa roof as a strip of light and fully functional fabric. Money and Weight saving to keep the cog low. All that crap, pressure pumps and motors and levers to do something that 4 clips could have managed. Silly Germans (probably yanks)
