aha!

I see the problemo, he was NOT there when I parked... I returned to the car and he had squeezed into the loading space...

are children permitted in this world in light of this fresh information?

What with Ron's cycling thread, we can be an uncharitable bunch ...
Was it not Ron that parked that Focus?
Despite my daily hack being a POS, I park away from the entrance.

IMHO, if it was an emergency, they wouldn't have bothered with a space at all.

No matter what anyone's opinion on disabled, Parent & Child, coupon holder or fat person spaces, you park your car 50 yards away from the entrance instead of 5 and not worry about it.

This is simply a stupid person thinking they are inventive.

Think UF has done the kiddie bashing bit to death now so can we move on to old people who go shopping in the evening and at weekend's. They do naff all weekdays so why do they come out when I need to nip in to Tesco for something.

Anyway what i do is stop at the entrance of the shop.
Let wife & children out and park in some quiet place.

They go shopping every day, it's something to do.

I mostly cycle to the supermarket these days, and can therefore park nearer to the entrance than anyone else! MWAHAHAHAHA!

However, if I do need to take the car, I can thoroughly recommend Waitrose of an evening.

My car is in the centre of a normal space, and as you can see, there is lots of room:

this was not meant to be a debate whether or not children are a good idea (although I believe they are the future for mankind), but about the ar*ehole parking of this moron.

So just because I have kids and park in a P&T space, this parking is acceptable, just because you don't agree with them?
is anyone advocating banning kids?

where?

I don't mind kids

I just don't want them near me when I am involved in adult activities

anymore than they would want me around when they are doing whatever they do in child world

in the real world I accept give and take is required on all sides

but I cannot agree more with UF

this parent and child and bad parking stuff is truly a first world problem
