Yes - that service is called 'home delivery' and once you cost out the fuel / extra crap you end up buying and the hassle and stress of dealing with twunts in car parks' you realise that the £5 charge for bringing your chosen items direct to you is an utter bargain.

As you say, who wants to struggle

That was going to be the gist of a comment i posted, but you got there first. Selfishness and intolerance is becoming more and more the norm nowadays.

Reality of the situation is that supermarkets make a lot of money from families. Parent and child spaces make it easier for parents so more parents will go to the supermarket that provides them.

Nett result is most supermarkets provide them.

Why does anyone need to visit a shop in this day and age anyway? Do it all online. Saves interacting with the moron society that is the general public

amen to that

as so often, segregation is the answer

zone for people with sprogs

zones for people without kids

zones for disabled people

zones for rich people with nice cars

feck off fines for anyone that ignores the zoning

perfect!

I could not care less about p and c spaces - they are the last place I would park

but I wish the supermarkets would introduce 2/3 hr periods when kids were banned

ditto swimming pools

cinemas

and the beach

intolerance cuts both ways though

for every jaffa who parks in a parent and child space

these are three parents who are unwilling or unable to shut their screaming brats up in a restaurant

(I made the stats up but ykwim)

let's just ban children then...

I know most of your have 2 seat convertibles (hell, I did until recently), but I assumed that was for motoring reasons not in protest against people having kids.

this was not meant to be a debate whether or not children are a good idea (although I believe they are the future for mankind), but about the ar*ehole parking of this moron.

So just because I have kids and park in a P&T space, this parking is acceptable, just because you don't agree with them?

What i'm amazed by is this.

You parked next to someone that clearly doesn't give a toss about their parking and then had as much space, if not a fraction less as a normal space. Therefore risking more damage to your own car than if you'd ignored the principal of the thing and parked elsewhere. Or you could have nipped up against the kerb and left enough space.

Just because one idiot parks like one doesn't mean ........

Oh and it's Monday, I HATE Mondays
