Just too many wonderful cars to get around in a day really and then there was the racing as well as classic howling BDA Escorts going very sideways on the rally stages.

Sorry Moggie that was pretty much all of the shots I got other than my poor attempts at capturing the track action, all of which were rubbish and blurred. Was car number 60 someone you know?

Wish I'd been able to record the sound of the Formula 5000 cars for you all, the sound was electric and made the hairs on my neck stand up; Absolute monsters.

It was a great day out, the event lasts for 3 days and I recommend anyone who's interested in old and classic cars to get along next year.

Car 60 is a mechanic I know. I bought my first car from him which he semi built. He's working on the e30 now. Does all the servicing on my dads car and van. Top bloke.

Spent an enjoyable Sunday at OP & had a great day. Some excellent stuff on display. The races were excellent with a some of the older guys at the front really going for it in some very expensive kit. Sound was amazing.
